1 in 6 people in Ventura County regularly face food insecurity. Food Share of Ventura County leads the fight against hunger in their county and ensures each month that 75,000 community members are fed healthy, nutritious food. Part of the largest hunger-relief organization in the nation, Food Share is working to create programs that distribute fresh foods to hungry families, children and individuals. A $10 dollar donation is enough to provide 30 meals that will meet nutritional needs and improve the lives of those in need.

The population of SkidRow is too many to count, and the transition to get out of the streets isn’t easy either. The Weingart Center has been a helping hand to our unhoused community battling any obstacle from debt to addiction. Offering all the tools people need to start anew, the Weingart Center has been a symbol of hope to L.A.’s homeless crisis.
