Prison PTSD is very real and there are few resources to aid the prison population in and outside of the system. Give A Beat helps reduce this harmful effect of incarceration by providing classes in music production, DJ-ing, and connecting both juvenile youths and adults to music professionals. They are building solidarity among empathetic artists, volunteers, and businesses to create opportunities for social change.
